Featuring multi-award winning recording artists Kevin Mark and Dale Boyle, The Kitchen Shakers deliver a repertoire of upbeat, fun and engaging roots music.

Together, Kevin and Dale hold no less than 25 music industry awards and nominations for their respective contributions to the blues and folk genres on Canadian and International levels.

Kevin Mark was voted Quebec's Male Blues Artist of the Year in 2006 and is the recipient of the Lys Blues Live Act Of The Year Award a record-number four times in the past five years. “Kevin Mark leads with that booming voice and some great guitar”, says USA’s Blues Revue magazine. Carolina Sounds Beach Show (USA) proclaims “when it comes to boogie ‘n blues, nobody does it like Canada’s Kevin Mark”.

Dale Boyle is considered "one of the best to emerge from north of the border " by Americana Homeplace (USA) and “an accomplished musician, a fine singer, and an exceptionally thoughtful, meticulous songwriter” by Canadianblues.ca. He is the winner of the 2005 and 2006 Lys Blues Folk Blues Artist of the year award, and his songwriting skills have earned him the 2007 International Narrative Song Competition and 2008 Lys Blues Songwriter of the Year award wins.

This musical collaboration enables the Kitchen Shakers to dig into a multitude of Americana influences... and they do just that on the band’s debut release “Deep Fried and Countrified”.

As proudly stated in the album’s first tune, the Kitchen Shakers will rattle your cupboard doors and have you stomping the ground... So push the furniture aside and turn it up loud – we gonna have us a kitchen party!
